Rev A. Kornbaum — 1854 - 1857

Rev. Kornbaum came to serve the spiritual need of Bethel in 1854. In 1855 the log parsonage burned, and the congregation built a brick parsonage that cost $1000.

Rev. Kornbaum had strong Lutheran learnings. When Bethel members decided they wanted to be an Evangelical instead of a Lutheran church, Rev. Kornbaum left in 1857 to go to Vincennes and led the Lutheran congregation there.
